We had a swell
time last night. Nice to meet/greet the boys and gal in the

Everyone
needs to see, hear and feel Zonixx. We had great fun and I am so
glad that I made the side trip from New Buffalo, Michigan to
South Bend. We danced, carried on and embarrassed Steve beyond
belief, but it was worth it. Thanks to everyone who was part of
this event and to those who made this memory special to me. I
have lots of pictures and as soon as I get home I will post
more. |

As
Steven said last night it was a lot of fun. It is a beautiful
venue, the weather was perfect, and the performance by Zonixx
was great. Steven, the group just keeps getting better and
better. The size and reception of the crowd indicated that
Zonixx is a South Bend favorite. Save me a copy of your new CD
when it is available. It was great to see classmates that I have
not seen since graduation. |

SEITZ PARK
Concert - I
saw the band perform at East Race on Sunday, August 26, and I
have to say that I thought you guys were great. I was never a
fan of KT Tunstall until that night. My favorite song, though,
was Crash Landing. Rebecca has a desperate coolness in her voice
that reminds me of Margo Timmins of the Cowboy Junkies in that
song, but it's not as emotionally complicated and strained, so
it is more accessible and enjoyable to a larger crowd. Jim's
guitar licks came at by complete surprise. I thought only
Santana could do Santana. Great performance.... Can't wait to
see more. |

Concert -
You guys (and gal)
sounded great last night. Best ever, I thought. Booboo liked it,
said it was easy to drop-butt dance to and gave you a 98. |

ZONIXX
ROCKED at Between the Buns in Osceola. A beautiful night of rock
outside on the patio with the northern lights a flowing. The
drummers son, played some cool congos. Zonixx performs really
great party music, but the songs they write and perform should
by recorded! You guys need to find a record company to get your
music on the radio! Becky, Bruce, Steve, Frank and
Jim, keep up the creative gigs! We stayed longer and heard some
FANTASTIC new songs... Peace! |

HACIENDA Concert -
That
Rebecca is so hot!!!! And all that talent too! I bet talent
and good looks run in her family. The fact that I am her
uncle makes me confident that it is true. Seriously, You
guys look and sound great, Web site is very professional. It
is in keeping with the standards of the entire band. Your
hard work is evident in all that is being presented. Mary Jo
and I look forward to seeing and hearing all of you again in
August. Best wishes and Godspeed to you all, With a little

only is he handsome and charming, he also plays a wicked bass
and sings like, like... like nobody you've ever heard. Rebecca
's a joy to listen to. You all seem like you're having a grand
o' time. We had a good time last night and enjoyed talking with

Concert - Hey
guys, we had a really great time last night. Your group is
terrific! But, I wouldn't have expected anything less. You
guy's (Rebecca included) rock! Again, thanks for a great
time and look forward to being a groupie. Keep us posted on

P.S. Bruce -
The piece you played for your wife was wonderful and
Rebecca's piece was wonderful as well. I liked the music
you two wrote better than some of the other stuff you
played. Should consider writing more. It was also nice
seeing old friends from the graphic arts community come
together for an evening of fun.

MIDWAY Concert - I recently
was invited to "The Midway Tavern" by a couple of friends of
mine to get some brew and see a band. Turn's out the band was
ZONIXX... Fantastic! I had a good time jammin out to songs I
know and you even played a song I shouted out from the back! The
crowd was real easy: you see, my friends didn't want to dance
but I was able to walk to the nearest table and find a partner.
Thanks for the good times. I'll be there the next time you gig! |

MIDWAY Concert - My wife and I
attended the world premiere of Zonixx last night and had a
wonderful time. They packed the place. The set list contained a
perfect combination of songs from the past as well as original
compositions which were all well-received by the audience.
Somebody To Love , White Rabbit, and Incense and Peppermints
soothed my hippie soul and our own ,Steven Barr, received huge
ovations for his renditions of Ain't No Sunshine and Imagine.
Who knew he could sing like that! After some minor mixing issues
were corrected, it was very apparent that this band can rock.
The vocals are strong and the musicianship was well appreciated
by those in this blues bar, where Al Capone and his gang used to
play cards . WHAT A GREAT BEGINNING! It was great to see Steven
again and to meet his daughter, Carlie. If you get a chance--go
see Zonixx!!! |
